About Me

So about me…

I’m Erin, I’m 24, from Scotland and I love reading. I've been blogging or over a year now, after being encouraged by my best friend and this quote - “Don’t let the fear of striking out, keep you from playing the game” - and I love the book community! I love sharing great reads with my friends and finding new books to try. I mostly enjoy chick-lit, contemporary, romance, women's fiction and new adult genres but also enjoy young adult! I didn't even know the ins and outs of all of the genres a year ago so it's safe to say my eyes have been truly opened!

Some of my favourite/go-to authors are Samantha Young, Paige Toon and Linndsey Kelk, but there are so many more whose books I have loved - too many to mention without missing someone!
When I'm not reading I'm usually with my boyfriend or my best friend, watching TV - especially American series such as The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, Grey's Anatomy, One Tree Hill and The O.C. so if you'd rather chat about any of them then let me know! I love baking and take way too many pictures of my daft dog.

You can get me on twitter @erinschoicee and on facebook at www.facebook.com/erinschoice.

My blog is mainly about all things book but will also be featuring some baking and beauty inspired posts too! I hope you enjoy having a look and feel free to leave any comments!

All reviews and thoughts are my own.

Where I have received a book from a publisher/author in either paperback or e-book format I will  disclose this in the review and this has in no way impacted my final review.

  1. Hi Erin, Please consider reading and reviewing my contemporary YA novel No Alligators in Sight. You can see more about it and me at http://kirstenfeldmanbooks.blogspot.com/ including contact info. Thanks!

  2. Thanks for hosting me on your blog Erin, I hope you enjoy my novel - Stiletto Heels or Bicycle Wheels?

  3. Hi there Erin,
I wonder whether I may be so bold as to recommend for your review the new Austen-inspired book, Follies Past: a Prequel to Pride and Prejudice by Melanie Kerr. It has been getting
exceptional reviews on Amazon (amazon.com/dp/B00GD76KJY) and you can read the first chapter, the blurb and a bit about the author on the website: FolliesPast.com.
Essentially, the book is based on the story of Darcy, Wickham and Georgiana, as described in Darcy's letter to Elizabeth in Pride and Prejudice. It is intertwined with an original and sweet love
story of the author's own invention and is written in the style and the language of Jane Austen's own works.
Reading it really feels like discovering a long-lost Austen manuscript.
Please feel free to email me at folliespast@gmail.com if you would like any more information, or to let me know if you decide you might like to review it so that I can send you a copy, in your
choice of eBook or paperback or both.

  4. Hi, I've nominate you for the Leibster award :)

  5. Hi Erin,

I was curious if you're currently accepting any new books for review? I'm the author of a new paranormal romance series for young adults and would love your thoughts on it. Check out my website if it sounds of interest -->http://www.oleahchronicles.com I'd be more than happy to send you a paperback!

    Thanks again!

  6. Hi Erin, apologies for leaving a request on your comments page but I couldn't find a contacts page. I would be grateful if you would consider reviewing my novel Never Eat Yellow Snow, which falls into all your preferred genres. If it tickles your fancy I'd be delighted to send you a digital copy. Kindest regards,
Never Eat Yellow Snow is a story about the bonds of friendship and forging true kinship in the most unlikely of settings.

As a recent divorcee Caesar should be sowing his seed but racked with guilt (a prerequisite for a young Jew) he is in the midst of an identity crisis, which may or may not be the reason for his impotence. Celeste can’t get enough. Her passion for the big ‘O’ has led her down a path of kink and perversion. Jaded, there is only one depravity left to try; a monogamous relationship but is she capable of fidelity? Alex on the other hand enjoys sex in the bosom of a relationship, trouble is all her partners end up cheating on her and now she is disillusioned. The Retreat specialising in psychosexual and group therapy is their last resort at a shot of ‘normality’.
